“How to generate huge online profits in less than four weeks using just one niche ideas source”
– Glen
My business partner and me have made over $2m in online revenues in the past 24 months. We were the first to enter markets that no one else had.-Step by step guide to finding these ideas Making them profitable in the under Four weeks.
Step 1: Track website ideas that are funded
Funding for a website idea means that it has two things:
1) Someone believes in the idea and pitches it to venture capitalists.
2) Venture capitalists are convinced enough to invest in it.
That’s not a terrible combination.
There are many resources I use to identify new industries that can be dominated. Monitoring is one of them. Funding rounds My favourite.
CrunchBase.com, is the website I use.
Recently, I discovered a brand new website that has received a lot of attention. Funding up to $1m This niche is one I could capitalize on quite successfully.
CoinTent is a company that aims to assist publishers ‘paywall’ You can sell content on your site or individual items via microtransactions.
It’s a big niche.
The New York Times has more than a dozen websites that are protected by a paywall. 910,000 active subscribers. Their subscription revenue is far greater than advertising sales.
The UK’s Sun Newspaper just this month adopted a similar model, only allowing access to their site for paying subscribers.
Monitoring funding rounds frequently often means you can find great ideas that have received a lot of money yet haven’t even launched.
Just having the idea of course is not enough, you need to…
Step 2: Choose an angle that is appealing to your target audience. It’s that simple
If you scroll through Crunchbase long enough I’m sure you’ll find at least one project that has been invested in that sounds interesting to you.
In the past month, more than 100 companies received insane amounts of funding.
This is only one source.
Of course, we aren’t here to steal other people’s ideas.
That’s not just because I’m trying to be a morally ethical.
It’s actually because the Angle These people want to make a difference in the entrepreneurial world. Angle That’s what I would do with it.
I wouldn’t follow the Cointent model because I have no desire to become a payment processor.
It’s going to take a lot of work just to brand you and get people to trust you with their payments. I guess that’s why they needed that $1m.
The microtransactions concept is my favorite.
Although I prefer to handle my own payments, I would rather integrate with companies like Stripe or Paypal. You also have the option of creating your own merchant account.
That’s not enough though; there are people who offer this kind of solution already.
You must go further.
In my experience…
It is easy to position any product or service in a profitable manner by looking at what you would like to get out of it.
“Scratch your own itch”As they say,
If you think like this, you will be able to see the benefits. Automatically niche down You will find people just like you, which allows you to connect with your target market in the most effective way It’s that simple.
“Niching down” Venture Beat, a tech authority, predicts that Cointent will achieve exactly this.
“However, there’s lots of room for competition from other digital wallets, should they choose to jump into the space. PayPal especially seems primed for this kind of utility. [..] That may allow CoinTent to move in on a niche market.”
If you want to create a site for Doomsday Preppers (which is worth billions), then you should just concentrate on the angle that you believe the world will end from.
Be the person who discusses the potential catastrophe, and not the general stuff.
Maybe you’re interested in nutrition but what really excites you is developments in nootropics and congnitive enhancement pills. If this is you, then become the go!-To-Resource for this angle.
The paradox is that people think taking small slices of a large pie online is the best way to go, but my experience shows me that I should take a larger slice of an even smaller one..
My own online story is a testament to how important it is to choose the right angle, especially when you launch a product online.
My Own $350,000 “Overnight Success”
(And how I totally failed when trying to duplicate it)
In the last several years, I have launched two software products.
Each one took approximately $6,000 to create.
Both bloggers are targeted.
Both products were promoted to the exact same audience.
Both let you easily customize an element on your blog (your opt).-In form or your most viewed posts).
Yet one of them stayed on the top of Clickbank’s web design category for 3 years and generated more than $350,000 in revenue while the other barely made back the cost of development.
Crazy, right?!
Not if you realize the power of the angle you take.
I was wrong about the second product.
The opt-In form plugin I was Solving a problem That’s what people did. There was no other way to customize and add opt.-In forms to your blog back then.
The popular-posts plugin I was just giving people a chance to see my work. A more appealing solution They could do something already.
The angle was wrong and it showed in the sales.
Here’s something that is actually crazy: This product would collapse if it were launched today.
You may be surprised at the reasons.
It’s certainly not because people don’t want to collect email addresses any more. To share my previous niche ideas, I focused all of my attention on getting your email addresses.
I could have sent those 20,000+ words to anyone, but I chose to give them to people on my email list.
Still, it is easy to create an email mailing list. hugely It is crucial for online businesses that want to generate actual revenue.
However, our methods of collecting email addresses have changed. It is amazing
I allowed people to opt in when I launched OptinSkin.-You can find them in the sidebar or in individual blog posts.
These are the most common places you’ll see opt-Forms
Pop plugins are now available.-Ups to collect email
You can add plugins to bars to your website that collect email addresses.
Plugins to opt-Forms that slide out of the right side of the page when scrolling to the bottom of an Article.
Heck, there’s even a service from BounceExchange – which a number of big blogs use – that Starting at $5,995 a month! Their main feature pops-Ask you if you’d like to be given a gift. Then, present two large buttons that say “I want to receive…” “Yes” Oder “No”. Click Yes to receive an opt-in email.-Form appears.
Which angle should I adopt with Cointent then?
My focus would be on micro transactions for specific pieces of content, but I would target it towards people running email list campaigns. You would then send them one email for every few emails that are valuable, and they would need to pay $7.
I would push the angle that instead of just providing a ton of value via emails and launching a big product for $97 or even $997, keep offering smaller products and grow your buyers list with this awesome new tool I’ve just made.
One niche source.
One idea.
One angle.
Done.
But still, that’s not enough.
Step 3: Learn how to tell stories
Let me tell you a story…
How to Get Russians to Love Potatoes
And what does that have to do with creating profitable websites?
300 years ago, the common potato was so looked down upon in Russia that peasants wouldn’t even grow the vegetable, nevermind eat it. The potato even had a name by religious groups. “Devil’s Apples”.
Rory Sutherland’s famous quote: TED In a conference talk, he said that the Russian government wanted potatoes to be more accepted and encouraged people to grow them. They did this by increasing the perceived value of potatoes.
They devised a brilliant plan: They planted potatoes at the Crown Prince’s gardens and kept guards on them all day.
Instructions were given for the guards Not You can watch them Too closely.
Everything is protected by royal warrants Must be valuable.
Soon enough, peasants started to take the potatoes and plant them on their own land. They soon realized that they could grow three times more potatoes on a single plot of land than they could grain.
This, among other things, helped to save millions of people during the worst famines in the Soviet Era.
They increased the perceived value of their product and promoted it to the masses.
Let me show you how micropayments can be used in your third follower of your email list.-Send an email.
…
…
Did you see that?
Did you notice how you got so into the story that you forgot about pitching or selling it when you read it?
It’s not some random paranormal thing that I’ve just done to you. You’re simply reacting to the idea of a story based on millions of years of evolution and storytelling around campfires.
Science proves that stories can be very powerful. After all, we’ve been using them for 27,000 years since the first cave paintings were discovered as a Primary form of communication.
This week Buffer.com The service that allows you to ‘time’ Social media updates – announced They have now reached $500,000 monthly revenue.
And do you know what’s interesting about their sales process?
They didn’t focus on product benefits.
They didn’t focus on service bullet-points.
Instead, says co-founder Leo Widrich, He shared stories.
My link building service is sold to me by telling the story of Michael Dell, who introduced Lithium.-By flying from New York City to Los Angeles, and showing his laptop that it still had power upon landing, he was able to bring ion battery to the rest of the world.
The message was, “people can figure out difficult challenges; we’ve figured out a complex Google algorithm”.
When I sold language learning products, I shared stories of people who were able to now communicate in English. “spy” They would not be able to talk about their victims and them, if they hadn’t learned their language.
Potential customers were excited by the idea that people wouldn’t know you had this ability.
If you’re not using stories in selling – no matter what you offer – then change that now.
Step 4: Implement a high-quality plan.-optimized funnel
Would you like to hear all about a funnel that I created but it was destroyed?
It was a huge project that cost thousands of dollars, took me more than a month to complete, and then I was forced to abandon it two weeks later.
It was for a course on how I build a marketing company and get clients (which accounts for a large part of our revenue).
I paid approximately $4,000 For one of those animated explainer videos that everybody says converts so well. It looked great, and it did convert…
…but only at getting people to watch the first video.
Over 5,000 people watched the first video, which lead to another video.
Only 2,000 people had made it to the end of the funnel by the time they reached video 7, the final video.
Each video is watched by a smaller number of people.
We still had 2,000 people to view a 2 hr.-It was a long-running edutainment series about building an online marketing agency. Less than a dozen people purchased it.
Why would this be?
First, there wasn’t any urgency.
They realized they could view these videos at their leisure, so assumed that our sales page would always be available or that the current price would remain.
Secondly, people began to doubt their ability to implement the things I was telling them.
Although you may attribute this to the video’s copy, they were the exact same content as the webinar I ran which had a huge conversion rate.
During the webinar, I was able reassure people that even beginners can do it – which was true. With people watching in their own time, I couldn’t do that.
Webinars are the best way to sell this angle.
It’s important you take the time to figure out which idea will sell your product – which funnel works best – to get the maximum conversion rate out of your website visitors.
It’s possible to look at it as if you wasted a lot time and money.
I see it as having learned another way which doesn’t work, putting me on the path closer to something that does.
Step #5: To achieve it, you must keep at it. “overnight success”
Overnight success is obviously the dream, but it’s not a reality.
This article’s headline mentioned that I had built profitable sites in four weeks.
That’s generally the timeline we give ourselves to see if a new project has potential.
If we’re struggling, not enjoying the process, or things weren’t as they seemed when we got into the niche, we’ll leave the site.
But if in those four weeks we see potential (such as email subscribers, Facebook likes, Google traffic, and so on) then we’ll stick to it.
If I believed in this process of blogging page monetisation, the worst thing that I could do would be to quit at the first hurdle.
If someone rejects me for an interview or doesn’t want to give my microtransactions software a try – even for free – then I’ll just move on to the next person.
Don’t just take my word for it though. Let me show you an example of how this step is done.
He asked me for my assistance five years ago. This year he’s on track to generate £1m in advertising revenue
I received an email in 2010 from London.-Based on Adnan Ebrahim, a 20-year-old.
He told me about Car Throttle, a new website he started that was getting some attention.
At the time it was getting around 45,000 pageviews per month but he wasn’t sure how to take things to the next level. (No credit here, I had no advice since I didn’t know a thing about the car space online).
Car Throttle currently has over 1.2 million Facebook friends.
Car Memes, which is also his, has 1.4 million.
Last month, he saw record traffic when he reached 1,000,000 pageviews in one day. This was the first time he has ever seen. The next day, traffic records were broken once more.
In January of this year BBC.co.uk wrote an article about his success and showed the site was on track to generate £1m in revenue in 2015.
He said that he believed success was due to his work ethic.
“I still think we’re a small player“.
He hasn’t lost any of the drive he had from the years running the site when he was looking at just £1,000 in annual revenue.
He is a hard worker who works tirelessly to ensure his business succeeds.
Step #6: You need to be seen as an authority
People are often scared of what they hear and read.
They automatically assume they can never be an expert or authority on anything because they just don’t have the experience.
Well, here’s a little secret.
You don’t have to be the top expert in the world on your topic (there’s only one spot for that, after all), you just have to know more than the average person.
Be an author “idea machine” and you’ll never have to worry about generating revenue again
In the introduction to James Altuchers’ latest book, Become an Idea Machine (New York Times bestseller), Altucher and his wife shared this.
“People say execution is everything, that is ALSO NOT true. Execution is one subset of ideas.
You feel inspired when a great idea strikes you. Execution happens automatically.”
It is amazing!
You stumble upon the perfect thing. Right You won’t need to search for motivational tips or inspiration to get started.
You’ll be doing it before you even know it.
I’ve received so many emails from people following this niche ideas series who say things like,
“I purchased two domains before I even finished reading the article”
“I read your article on the in a box idea yesterday and my website is set-up and ready to go”.
They didn’t have the idea then go and read some motivational quote online to get going.
The idea was what sparked the action.
James and Claudia emphasize the importance of exercise. “idea muscle” It is important to think of new industries and services in order to have great ideas.
I quickly realised that with having so many marketing clients and working on so many different websites, I’ve been exercising this ‘muscle’ For many years.
It may be the reason why my ideas come so easily now than ever before.
James extends this idea further.
“IDEAS ARE THE CURRENCY OF LIFE. Not money. Money gets depleted until you go broke. But good ideas buy you good experiences, buy you better ideas, buy you better experiences, buy you more time, save your life. Financial wealth is a side effect of the “runner’s high” Your idea muscle.”
